The U.S. Department of Agriculture, U.S. Forest Service (Tonto National Forest) is entering into Emergency Stage 1 Fire Restrictions effective this Thursday May 23, 2024, at 0800. Please see the attached Order from the Forest Service and map of the area.
This will affect our burn permitting, we will not allow any burning of material at any time until further notice after 0800 on May 23, 2024, all burn permits will be on hold. This includes burning in containers, open pits, cooking and warming fires. If it is a propane fire pit or gas grill that can be shut off if needed, you can use it for cooking or warming.
